Tiger (scientific name: Panthera tigris; referred to as tiger, although more commonly used for animals of the species Panthera pardus and its subspecies) is an animal belonging to the phylum Chordata, subphylum vertebrate, mammal class, meat eater (carnivore), family felidae (cat), genus panthera, and belongs to the species tigris.
Tigers are the largest cat style of its species, especially larger than lions. Tigers are among the second fastest cats in the running, after the citah. In overall carnivores, tigers are the largest carnivorous cats and the third largest carnivores after polar bears and brown bears.
Tigers mostly hunt rather large prey such as stags, antelopes, pigs, or cannibals. However, tigers are able to hunt small animals such as hedgehogs if the rather large prey does not exist. Although they come from the same family, tigers are not similar to those with small ordinary cats, tigers love to swim, and basically cats worry about being with with water.
