Tigers (scientific name: Panthera tigris; referred to as tigers, although more commonly used for animals of the panthera pardus species and their subspecies) are animals belonging to the Chordata phylum, vertebrate subphylum, mammal class, carnivores, felidae family (cats), panthera genus, and belong to the tigris species.
Tigers are the largest type of cat of its species, larger than lions. The calculated tiger is the second fastest cat in the running, after citah. In overall carnivores, tigers are the largest carnivorous cats and the third largest carnivores after polar bears and brown bears.
Tigers generally hunt rather large prey such as sambar deer, antelopes, pigs, or cannibals. However, tigers can hunt small animals like hedgehogs if the rather large prey does not exist. Despite being from the same family, tigers are not the same as being with small ordinary cats, tigers are too happy to swim, and cats are basically worried about being together with water.
